The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed in regards to the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support place created for intervention encounters a high influx of possible sassa beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to enable the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
